MWM is the leading boutique search firm in Europe. We guide boards and executive teams through their most critical people choices, helping them to anticipate change and prepare for growth and transformation.

We provide executive and non-executive search services as well as board advice to the world’s largest corporations, ambitious small and medium-sized businesses, leading private equity firms, entrepreneurs and family-owned businesses.

We have acted for over 50 of the FTSE 100 as well as 45 of the Fortune Global 500 companies and have placed 10% of the current FTSE 100 Chairs and CEOs. A third of our work is engaged in private markets, acting for some of the world’s leading PE firms on leadership appointments across their portfolio companies.

When we founded MWM over 20 years ago, our vision was clear: to partner with our clients on their most critical and complex people challenges.

Having spent our early careers in large global search firms, we saw the opportunity to bring together the best of both worlds—the rigour and structure of a global firm, combined with the personal, high-touch approach of a boutique. From the outset, we focused on Board and Executive Search, offering independent, thoughtful advice. Many of our earliest clients remain valued partners to this day, and we are proud to also work with a new generation of entrepreneurial, high-growth, and international businesses.

Internally, we set out to build a sustainable and equal partnership—one founded not on a single individual, but on shared values, mutual trust, and collective support. This foundation has allowed us to manage succession internally and nurture the next generation of leadership within the firm.

As we enter our third decade, we continue to evolve—combining deep experience with emerging technologies and AI—to help some of the world’s leading organisations navigate Board, CEO, and senior executive succession.
