We don’t apply a single ‘one size fits all’ model. For each client we work closely with the Board, CEO and often HR Director to understand their strategic priorities, the key capabilities required for each of the top team role(s), and the existing internal management evaluation processes and frameworks.
We can administer and interpret a broad range of psychometric tests. However, at the core of our assessment is an in-depth interview, where we explore the candidate’s career history and performance record (‘the what’) as well as examining their leadership style and managerial and functional capabilities (‘the how’). We often gain further colour and insight through discussions with internal and external referees.
Our reports are simply and clearly written without jargon or pseudo-scientific graphs. We describe both the strengths and development needs of the candidates, giving our perspective on how they stack up for particular roles against world-class external benchmarks and suggest development needs and possible career moves. In addition, we can produce an overview assessment of the group, highlighting areas where the bench-strength is good and pinpointing key gaps to close, as well as providing some ideas for enhancing the management development processes. Finally, we hold detailed feedback sessions with each candidate and help them create concrete personal development plans.
